You can also go to the players profile click on it add buddy, Then Block him. Not so many steps that way. You would of course have to go to Buddies list blue with 3 lines in it to block there are three dots to the right of name you just added and you can Block the person by clicking on the 3 dots will show you Block Player.

My way skips a few steps and I think less complicated. Your idea to have it there already is good too, but I don't know if it is needed or not. I guess Russ will decide on that one. Might get around to it as I don't assume it is a priority for sure.

I only had one player on my blocked list and I took him off. 🙂

You've had a lot of practice but could have went about it a shorter route. Especially with 38 of them to do all the same person.

...and you can click on Players (on the top menu)
then on "blocked" and then look for the one.

I don't block annoying players. - I prefer to eat their livers with some fava beans and a nice chianti...
