Holiday notification

Hi all, with the holiday season soon upon us all and family
commitments and the like would the following be possible;
to add a box near the 'resign' and 'offer draw'.. that asks the
opponent for permission to extend the timeout period. The opponet
can of course decline the request or opt for a menu like
the 'upgrading pawn' page, with a selection of days.. ie.. 3, 7, 14 day
extention.
I for example will be spending a week in the frozen Finnish Forrest
over Christmas and will get a lot of timeout results in my tournament
and other games.. I am sure there are many people like that as well.

Fear not, before long (it was meant to be tonight - but I got bogged
down in a few bugs) -I will be releasing a new load of code on RHP
which will include a vacation mode. It will not stop people timing you
out, but it will request that they don't.

I will also post to the home page asking people to be considerate
over the Christmas period.

If I am trying to T/O someone, how will I know that they used
the "holiday/vacation" option?
Will the message show?
I will (try) honer all vacation/holiday notifications!!!!!

Hi Russ, Morjens Harri,
Great news about the holiday button. I have a million questions but I
will be patient and wait until you have uploaded the new changes. BTW
the new layout of the forum is a lot cleaner.. I haven't explored it yet
but I really like the attention and ideas flowing through this forum.

A yellow diamond (with a tiny plane on it) will appear next to the
game in 'your games'.

If you choose to timeout, a warning box appears stressing that the
person is set to vacation mode - advising you not to claim.

I will be promoting the vacation mode when I update the homepage
next.

Aidin kieli on suomi, mutta puhun myos ruotsia. Olen routsin ja
USA:n kansalainen. Asun Floridassa, olen ollut taalla 15 voutta,
muutin tanne kun olin Silja Lines laivoilla, Turku-Tukholma, S/M Svea,
Olin toyssa vahtimiehena laivoilla noin 5 voutta.
