You click on the FIND PLAYER link at the top of the page under the magnifying glass.
On the left of the next page that pops up you will see a box where you can enter
the name of the player you are searching for.

A list will pop up in the centre and you click on the player you want.

Once you do that his profile will come up and you can send him a message.

You have to ask them to apply by message and then it's up to your clan leader to approve them or reject the application.

Same process works for clubs. You PM your candidate, candidate applies on clan/club homepage, clan/club leader approves or rejects, candidate's in or out. That's it.
