My experience has decreased

I was playing a game and i noticed my experience had decreased about 200.

Could you please tell me why this is?

Experience = rating?

Until you get 20 games, some wild and strange things can happen to your rating.

During your provisional status and you play against someone far inferior than yourself, then you sometimes lose points. The rating appears to be erratic.
A good advice is to play against opponents with your own estimated strength or above.

On chess why does my experience go up and down for no reason?

Play more games against this guy User 432581. So far you have played 4 games against him and he has resigned 4 times without making a move. 😕

Ain't that the truth !

You have played only 8 rated games. Until you reach 20 your rating is of no significance. Games with less than 3 moves are unrated.

What so if i do 3 moves then resign the bloke i am playing will get experiance?
