Yeah, I can't get them to upload either. It tells me I have the wrong file type.

I have tried multiple different GIFs and JPGs. All are the right sizes.

What gives?

Same here - but I needed to upload 3 times, and have managed to do it twice in about 25 tries. At the moment I'm stuck in greyghost.
Same "filetype not supported" message on every other try. Will send feedback now.

Pix are one of the things we pay our subs for, your problem can be easily fixed. 🙂

I've just checked, the problem is still there ..... I know it's just a non-urgent trivial problem, guys, but I HATE being a grey ghost!

i got that by accident one day and dont know how to get a better one.this one is dark for some reason and i cant change it.

You need a .gif or .jpg saved on your own computer. Then it's under MySettings>My Images.

I found my rat using google image (small images only), then coloured him in Paint Shop and saved him to my PC to be uploaded.

I can't upload images either. Very frustrating. Tried about 20 times with all sorts of images but just get the same message: 'file type not supported'. Has anybody got any advice please?

Rules:

The image MUST be on your hard-drive. I take mine from the desk top.

.gif

If it is a motion .gif file, it must be 50x50 for avatar. I forget proper size for Profile Images. They must be the exact size required for them to work. The upload page should give you size requirements.

Other than that, perhaps the feature is still bugged. Were you using these rules?

I had the same problem trying to upload an image from my laptop which connects to the internet through a wireless network. When I tried it on my main computer it worked fine. Does that make sense?
