Hi stoker,

There is a 'notepad' link next to the board when you are playing a game.

I may have written most of the code, and done most of the feedback in recent times - but in the background, Chris has been keeping our data safe and our servers ticking over.

That's enough 'back patting' for one day. 🙂

True, but many of us would like to be able to add notes while waiting for our turn. 😉

(Some of us would also like to find a foolproof way of avoiding sending our game notes as a message to our opponent, but that's another story 😳 )

Seriously, I think the timebank system is absolutely the way to go. I'd probably want as many games as possible to be 3-day t/o with a 14 day bank.

Thankfully, no. 🙂

Just old Uni buddies. (We used to share a house). We don't even see each other in person very often these days - but organise ourselves using online methods.

Way too complex.Just treat it as a contract. I agree that I will move within a given time. Once I run out of time my clock is stopped, the game is over & I am free to do something else.

Oh yes - we use technology to the full...

MSM Messenger conversation:

Russ: I've just uploaded some new code, can you test?
Chris: ok
Chris: It works
Russ: Shall we put it on the site then?
Chris: ok
Russ: ok

I am confused.... I signed on this morning only to find that i had won three games by move timeout, only i did not time those games out. Can your opponent time out themselves? This is quite strange...😕

I ran the auto-timeout script for tournament games today - for the first time in a week or so. (There was a Christmas armistice - but that expired yesterday.)

Is there a chance to implement an option that gives you the chioce not to accpet timeouts? I would not have timed those games out, especially since they had vacation flags up.
