I’m signed up to play new members when they join the site but I need to stop for a while. I can’t find where to toggle this on and off. Any suggestions?

I have suggested this before, and I still think a greeter should have the option of selecting to play as White or Black, instead of automatically only playing as Black. My experience as a greeter has very often been that the new members never make the opening move when they are playing as White.
If the greeter can play as White and make the first move, they can also begin a dialog with the new member and maybe offer some help in figuring it all out.
I assume that since they are new to the site and are trying to figure out how everything works and how to navigate around on the website or on their device app, that they may be overwhelmed with it all and just give up and leave.

The worst case is when they have no games at all because it takes a while for people to become comfortable with creating games or accepting open invites - so they need to be white to get engaged right away.
On signing up, there is quite a few tips to help new players, which I hope are useful. (A new player would have to confirm this though, of course!)
edit : Also, a recent change to web, players don't go to My Games after sign up anymore. If there is a game waiting, they go right to it. This does appear to help.
The main issue now is that this doesn't happen on the apps, so that needs to change too.
