blitz chess has an invert button and it is working fine.
the annoyance (I hope this word is appropriate)
is only in the corrispondence game page.
I'm using firefox 2.x on linux and windows.
I don't think the problem is a browser bug.
I think it is just a design choice and I would like
to circumvent it.

It's a very natural design choice, as it is the same way as when you play on the board in real life. It would be rather weird if both players would sit on the same side of the board in OTB play. So if you ever want to play OTB, I'd suggest getting used to it.

Nonethless, on the screen, I see a diagram, as it should be, not a board (3d-rendering on a flat surface is a poor design choice to me).
I'm used to see chess diagrams with black on the upper side
and having it reversed make me dizzy.
I'm just wondering if there was an option to set the behaviour
I prefer. I didn't expose a flaw or criticize the design choices.
I'm a new user and I'm exploring this platform.
