The course of action most likely to achieve 'success' for anyone who is receiving abusive messages is to send feedback to the site admin (link at bottom of the screen called 'Send Feedback'😉. They will then read the messages contained in the game(s) and take the most appropriate course of action.

I've personally had worse abuse than this. However my advise would be to :;
1. humour him if you want to have a laugh - this might be the best thing to do
ask him if he has a direct line to God
was his mother a woman by any chance
this sort of thing might just rattle him enough so that he looses the game after all there
is a bit of psychology in chess
2. Ignore him completely.
Risk with this is he mightn't get the message.
3. Resign the game, saving elo isn't worth the hassle.
4. Quotiing him on the forum might help us to help you.
Good luck however you decide to tackle this.

I know who you're talking about because I'm currently playing him in a tournament. Anyway, he asked me the same question about believing in God. Since I do, I told him so and asked him why he was curious. He responded with something about the Christianity vs. Atheist thread in the Debate Forum. He wanted me to jump into the debate over there. Other than that, I haven't had much communication with him in our game.

I am having a problem with a player....that has challenged me a game...so i accepted as i never turn down down a game....played three moves...and then starts giving me abuse
a) because i am a female
b) because i don't belive in god
if i delete the game he wins...but i would like to play the game.
I have asked him to be qiuet but he cannot seem to do that
It's not really fair that i play a game and i get abuse for my beliefs
