Whats the point of of having recomendations?
So you can view the recommendation list and see what others like. Sometimes the list is good, and you'll find a gem... sometimes it's littered with failure. I read through (skim) the list and might see a good thread I had missed.
Right now the hot topic at top is a fix for the RHP game explorer.
Yes, alerts tell mods they might want to check a post and either remove it or let it go.
