Has anyone else having problems refreshing RHP? Seems a lot slower in the past couple days.

Its rather wierd, cuz when u press submit it seems to be really slow, nothing happens, u click my games, and it goes fast, click the game, it goes fast, do your move and then click submit and it goes hanging again:

I expect it's a side-effect of the 2008 Tourny being in operation. Lots of games just now.

Any perceived improvement today?

A problem with the server was rectified earlier today.

although some improvement, it seems still slow at times. when US wakes up it is much slower, making the performance unacceptably poor.

May have to take the site down to sort out one more potential problem later.

I have a perennial difficulty for the RHP site that has become slowly worse over the last few weeks. I have Performance Monitor running background and there appear to be a lot of memory leaks, which result in more and more page faults and the iexplore process just growing in size until the system freezes. It seems that switching pages doesn't always release the CPU because its indicator line drops visibly when I move around in other sites, but not always in RHP. I'm a technical ignoramus with an 800mhz CPU, so this problem may not be a problem if you have lots of free CPU. Does anyone have any helpful ideas for things I can try, apart from constantly closing and reopening IE? I'm planning to turn this machine into Linux/Firefox soon but can't do it yet for other reasons.
