I struggle to see what could be more immediately pressing, and he helped out the usa in the game yesterday rather than plug the oil leak. ๐Ÿ˜ต

    Hi Robbie:

And when God was making the world he said to St.Peter.

"I'll call this place Scotland, I'll give them whisky, haggis, tartan. scenery,
bagpipes, The Loch Ness Monster, Rabbie Burns....."

"Too much," said St.Peter. "This is favouritism."

"Wait till you see who I give them as neighbours" replied God. ๐Ÿ˜‰

England the biggest athiest country in the world...perhaps.

I'm not too sure if God has a downer on athiests
If the whole world were athiests there would be no wars.

Perhaps it would have been better if he just created everything
and not tell everyone he did it.

That book he wrote has caused a lot of trouble.
    A lot of trouble.

England AND France can sod off now...I've spent too much time watching these pathetic teams, who on paper, should be brilliant๐Ÿ™

BTW Trev, I've come full circle now, even though over at sports I was defending the Henry handball, I am now truly sorry for Ireland...but hey, its hard to get very "international" sometimes when you live way over here๐Ÿ˜‰ (in australia)

The good book does not cause trouble....never has and never will to those who apply its teaching...when you opinionated lot are finished telling the world how it should be according to your own little narrow views and/ or speaking the devils doctrine, its time you stop mocking God's name and his teachings and go and find out for yourselves some real truth that doesnt just start in your own head...the book only appears to you to cause trouble and to those who choose not to apply themselves to its teachings.....they take their little focus off God and put it on themselves....to sound a little like this -"Look world focus on me I have an opinion and as far as Im concerned I must be right and the entire 2000+ year history and its teachings of the bible must then be wrong"....

choose wisely between good and evil spirits in this world....you are just a speck of dust in comparison to God's awesome creation....if you fail to see God then you are facing the wrong direction, you must be then walking down the wrong path, you need to turn yourself around...God knows more about his creation than you do and how it works, and between you and God it is you who needs to change not him.

Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

God is good, Holy and your very reason for existing...

lol, actually you know its just a cultural thing with us mean Scots dear pawn dude, i have many friends born south of the border whom i love dearly, but with football, i dunno, i have really searched my soul as to why i should wish defeat upon the England football team and have come to the conclusion that had Edward the first not continually come up to give as a hammering, had he not sacked Berwick and killed all of its inhabitants, well things might have been different. But the real reason is that its a rebellion against the media whom we perceive as less than impartial, in other words we feel we have been marginalised. But it is not only us, my friend has just returned from Spain, it was swarming with southern Irish, the place erupted when America equalised in their first game, why should that be the case? Is it perceived injustices of the British government manifesting itself at a cultural level? who can tell? I myself loathe Scottish nationalism, infact, there is a parochial attitude in the rurals of Scotland that i find the most obnoxious anywhere, indeed, many of the friendliest and most mannerly persons i have met have been born south of the border with one or two exceptions, some of the most narrow minded are Scots nationalists. We must live and let live, but it would be a cultural tragedy if our sons had to bear the brunt of another 1966 and live with it for the duration of their life times!

    Hi Robbie,

"but it would be a cultural tragedy if our sons had to bear the brunt of another
1966 and live with it for the duration of their life times!"

It's just a game of football, they should not let it upset them so.
Most people who cause all the trouble and boil up the hatred never go to games.

As for '66, it's now a running joke between England and Scotland and should
be treated as such. Same way as when me and some 'Jambo's' get together
and I go on about the 7-0 game.

    Hi Barstud:

See 'the book' has caused trouble between me and a complete stranger.

"...between you and God it is you who needs to change not him. "

Well by your reckoning he created me so he had his chance to inflict
any change on me and for some reason he chose not to.

(must have been another one of his mysterious ways...).

However I am of the opinion that mankind created God.

I have no wish to change him as this belief obvioulsy brings comfort
    to a lot of people.

The same way Iwould never shatter a childs dream about Santa Claus
    or the The Tooth Fairy.

"you are just a speck of dust in comparison to God's awesome creation."

OK then as one speck of dust to another.

Imagine just for 10 seconds what this planet would look like if there were never
any humans on it. No specks of dust. (your words).

It would be a total and absolute paradise.

Everything in nature is in perfect balance, every species depends on each other.

Except mankind. Take us off this planet and not one creature will feel our loss.
(forget domesticated animlas we created them).

We do not belong here, we are freaks of nature that just got too smart.
Specks of dust that have multiplied into a form of bacteria that is polluting
    and raping this planet.

If I were the God that created this shambles I would keep quiet about it.

I would certainly not have written a book accepting the responsibility.
