As we all know, one must be 13+ yrs old to be on RHP, a rule that when introduced caused some consternation for the younger members onsite. Alas it was a simple argument: US law (COPA) made this a practical necessity for RHP administration.
However, COPA has been successfully challenged as unconstitutional (via the 1st amendment) in Philadelphia and that ruling was upheld in the Supreme Court.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has now started a case against the COPA US-wide, a case expected to take 4 weeks.
So one-month form now it may or may not be that the 13+ rule becomes defunct.
Well the adjudication is out, and COPA is now effectively dead. To quote the attourney general of the US: "As a result, I will issue a permanent injunction against the enforcement of COPA."

So what justification for the 13 year old rule now? Has the experience of banning the joung 'uns made RHP a better or a worse place? And I suppose the critical question, has it effected RHP's finances for better, for worse or not observably?
