Don't be so hasty....I do love the Hammerschlag (1.f2 & 2.Kf3) and other unusual openings. So if you consider those crap then I am an "arrogant and foolish crap lover" as you so eloquently put it. 🙂
Btw. I think that many unusual openings are much better. I have nothing against playing openings like 1...g5 and 1...b5 1...a6 etc. but 1...h5 seems too much for me 🙂
