Castle early. Check the safety of the piece you're moving, twice and take pieces when you're given the chance.
100% on you with the queen - but i don't understand why i should of taken the bishhop?

Well tbh any decent player is going to convert that game whether you take the bishop or not... a poor player though might mess up if you take the bishop. On first glance i don't see serious damage the knights can do within a couple of moves.

I know but against guys on your level - take the bishop. People are generally bad at attacking and will give away pieces for free if you're patient and take care about your moves.

And how is being an extra piece down going to help with that?

If you take the piece, it is likely that the two knights will have you for breakfast.
If you don't take the piece, it is certain that the two knights plus the free, gift bishop will have you for breakfast, lunch, tea and supper.

    Take the piece.

Meanwhile, we still don't know why you chose the opening you chose. You claim it's not because you know it as a standard opening, and I believe you. But that does not explain why you chose it in the first place, seeing that it goes against most opening principles.

This is not an answer to either question.

If you won't explain your thought processes, you cannot be helped.
