Was this 14 move checkmate from a crazy sacrifice or just dumb luck?

My opponent is much better than his rating (timed out on vacation)Game 2493396

....I think the attack can be refuted.....

    Let me think how....

    aha!

    6. exd5

    A)...Qf6+ Qf3 Qxf3 Kxf3 exd4 (2 pawns for a knight)
    B)...Qh4+ g3
    C)...Qxd4 c4 [Nc3 also good] and I think black runs out of good attacking possibilities...Qxd4+? Qxd4 exd4 (2pwns4KN)

Other responses arn't much better either, simply because White can "develop" a defence.

by 11. I think White is a little buggered....

However, I still think there are defences to be had, which at the VERY least, make the win more difficualt.

You're 1500. You should already know that overlooking a mate-in-one (as White did at the end) isn't sound chess. Instead of Re1, White could try a3, c3, or even dxc6 (still better than mate in 1, although it looks risky).

its not that hard to beat a 900 player a piece down. it wasn't dumb luck. it was just pure stupidity of your opponent.

He's regularly 1500, and you got beat by a 1200 using the hammerschlag, so watch the stupidity comments.

Trust me, I can beat you. Don't believe me? Send over a challnge. You meet what I consider at least somewhat challenging.

7 day TO or I delete it.

    I'll happily take black.
