After bf5 Qf3: yes, the B's get xchanged. Looks OK to me.
Hey! I can't speak for Doug White though, for we did not get in a discussion of the game afterward. Most of the USCF players will not converse as people do here. That's why I enjoy this site. Get to run my mouth. I take what I can get in the USCF. They are always tough events!
Exuma; if you are in the Bahamas you can get a USCF membership and play there by correspondence. Region 4 includes Florida and even Puerto Rico, so there are OTB events in those areas. If you'd like, I can post other of my USCF games here, (including several where I get mauled!), but then, RHP might get upset and I'll be called a shill for the US Chess Federation! Actually, now that I think of it, I will put some of those losses on my clan site and see if anyone can show me the error of my ways. Poor Dave (KBear) is ill, and Dean (Revrsleeker) is always busy at something (like picking apples), but Ray (sactheking), Lawrence Schofield and jan (jankrb) might be of help. At least, they will enjoy seeing me get beaten so badly.
All I wanted to show was another example of a Queen getting trapped on the Kingside by an early excursion, and this game came to mind, as it was recent. The game I was modeling it on was 1-0 Becerra Rivero,J (2568)-Tan,O (2295)/Las Vegas 2007, and the ideas worked out well for me here. Up Q+P for R+B and a good position.
