Hi there, I am doing a term project on chess openings, and wanted to have your opinion about it. What is the most exiting opening for you? Why?
In this way, I may put in a sentence like "In RHP.com, a CC site, most users prefer the x opening, for it suits their .... playing style." I also want to put some example games of such openings, if I can.
For me, the most exciting opening is the King's Gambit. Never played it though...
lemme tell ya, all the openings are boring, they follow chess principles and almost never violates them. gambit...pffft so what, sacrificing one pawn isn't exciting.

I was about to dismiss that comment as hyperbole, and then I looked at this:

LOL If you thinking that following the chess principles are always boring, then I can tell that your knowledges of chess are rather poor.

he is the one wanted an exciting opening, that's why i brought it up, don't try to insult me with your "harmless" remarks.
Originally posted by Korch We can play in this opening (I`m with white and you with black) and I`ll crush your position without any problems.
fine, go to the "open invites" i got a game waiting for you!
btw, i'm not going to play that opening, a diff. one which also that does not follow the chess principle.
