Just for clarification:

Kramnik's team requested that a glass screen be placed on the stage where they play chess. And that WAS NOT IN THE CONTRACT.

Topalov's team didn't make a "fuss" about it.

......I would like to say that FIDE is not sharing any fears regarding use of external assistance during the games, but our opinion here is not important – we should meet the players halfway, in order for them to feel comfortably at the board and not to worry about fair play.

This was exactly the reason why the glass screen appeared on the stage following the request of Mr. Hensel. It is not included in the contract, but we satisfied the request of Mr. Hensel. It is possible that the other side felt hurt, but no decisions of FIDE could satisfy both teams in 100%...........

Also:

.... the original contract states that the organisers must provide both players with "a restroom and a toilet", not "a restroom with a toilet", which renders the appeal of the Kramnik side regarding this point of the contract "groundless".....

Chessbase.com is truly pro-Kramnik.

Now many will be pulling their hair Kramnik didn't walk away after game 5 and pretend to be a WCC. Too late now for Kramnik to play the "pinched lady" and draw attention of compassion.

Topalov will make him an example for the chess books.

LA, let me ask you this: Would you proclaim that you have won a game for a world title, knowing very well that your opponent didn't even make a single move? Never mind all those scandal, technical or ruling from whoever. The game was NEVER ACTUALLY PLAYED. After all has been said and done, you can't run away from that: GAME WAS NEVER PLAYED.

That's why I said in one of my posts two extra games should be played at least. Or the match should start from 0-0 since there were two extra days off, which changed the pace of the 12 games marathon. So we can have a fair play.

BTW Kramnik won the 10th in which Topalov seems to have not found the right moves in the opening. Good job on Kramnik's home work.

May be the pawn on b5 was the deciding "point" for the game. Topalov probably should have moved it to b4 earlier and deny the white's move Nc3.

It could be interesting if they finish 6-6. Though I would like to see if Topalov wins a score of 7-5.

Kramnik's best chances IMO are his homework and use of all the help he can get from his vast team of GM's which are among the best in the world.

I don't understand what's so worng with joining the site just to use the forum, however LA is obviously a stupid troll...topalov wins because he's brilliant, kramnik because he was helped by his team of gms, nice one. From what i've seen so far it's topalov that's better prepared(obvious from his fast play in the opening),kramnik just outplayed him in this last game.

Kramnik outplayed Topalov in game 10 is true. Kramnik was in the driver's seat.

I have never denied the truth.

Why not just play chess?
Why this circus around it?
The battle is at the 64 squares, and this should be it.

Come on Danailov, stop pretending to be some jerk on the internet named Los Angeles... we all know it's you.

Oh and while you're spending time on this site spreading propaganda how about playing a chess game or two. We can find you some willing 900-1000's for you if that's what you've been waiting for.
