Hey, we can't all be chess magicians with a rating of... 1200. Anytime you want a game send one over. If you're as good as your arrogance would suggest then maybe I'll learn something and even improve my endgame.

Give up chess and take up fishing.

Thats the best advice possible for you, mate.
Do not try to start flame wars, they are tedious.

I'm with DeepThought on this and I apologise for rising to the bait. I'm off to catch some fishies.

youre easiest win was on move 44. when you could have just advanced your king and gobbled up whites last pawn.

I think that it is possible to get a win from a king and a pawn.
Just make sure that you defend the pawn with the king, and you will slowly be able to get the pawn to the end.
Then promote it to a queen.

Then you can use the queen to pin the opponents king to one side of the board, then you move in with your king and queen to find a mate.

Takes ...[text shortened]... s very possible.

I guess it is easier to be the opponent and see someone else win form there.
Place a black king on e8, a white pawn on e7 and white king on e6...

Who wins?

If... it is whites move he wins (Kf6, Kd7, Kf7 and the pawn will queen).
If... it is blacks move, he wins (stalemate).

The point of this is that if the black king can obtain a position in front of the pawn and allows himself to be slowly pushed back. By making the right moves he can force stalemate (you can figure these out or google for it, it is an endgame all serious chess players must know).

If the pawn is on the a or h files, it is even easier since the black king cannot be forced away from the blockading squares.

Edit: 2 more positions you should study...
1. White king on e4, white pawn on e5, black king on e6.
2. White king on e6, white pawn on e5, black king on e8.

Zebano, I would rec you if I could... As for 'Kings Indian FTW', a little compassion goes a long way... and a lot of ignorance gets you nowhere.
