Game 6861711

Why in the world would white resign here? It looks to me like black is mated soon.

That is absolutely bizarre

36. ... Rb1+
37. Kf2 Rb2+
38. Kg2 Resigns

Why did white give up in a won position? Have you emailed Nowakowski about it?

Does Black have counter play after 38.Kg3? Or is it mate with Rf5?

Not that I see. 38.Kg3 39.Rf5
Black can delay it by giving up material but that is sad.

There must be something I am missing. I am only 1400, but I solve tactical puzzles daily and this one is bothering me!

The position is a clear win for white, but Nawakowski has "private reasons" for resigning, and is not willing to share this w/ the forum.

GIN doesn't cheat. Simple.

He saw the win, he just didn't play it because he had some previous agreement with his opponent. This in itself is not cheating and I don't believe any cheating accusations have been made in this thread, have they?

BTW White has a forced mate in the final position.

I don't see how losing = cheating.

So if I resign early I am cheating too?

I have a couple games that I want to unload, but I guess that would be cheating?
