Well you know the ones.

You are playing good and easy, going la la la, expecting to win the game in the next 8 moves or so, and then bang the humiliating blunder and you feel so guted that you want to resign on the spot.

Then that feeling gets you to fight back and...yeah you manage to finaly win the game by just throwing everything to your oponent and sacrificing the all house.

Isn't that a great feeling!

It wasn't that dramatic in the following game, but just brought back some great OTB memories: Game 2589996

Anybody got funny examples of this from their games here?

Well, just a couple of days ago, someone started a thread, asking which is better, to have a queen or two rooks. This would be one example that could answer his question.

I think I was very lucky though to have managed to go all the way through. You probably change the position of one of the central pawn and the game is lost or draw maybe at best if you put a lot of sweat in it.

so was the blunder when you lost a queen for a rook or when you missed mate in 1? i'll leave it to you to figure out where the missed mate in 1 is.

when he missed mate in 1 he mated in the next move, so it really doesnt matter i would say
