Banned players

Just had two games cancelled against a 1300 rated player as he has been banned from the site. This seems odd- aren't they usually 2000 ish if they are banned?

If two or more lower rated players get banned at the same time - it is a good bet that it was because of multi accounts rather then computer use.

What is the advantage of more than one account- it does not seem to be about gaining points.

Some people might just not read the rules of the site and create two. Others do it to get more games, without subscribing.
Others use it as a way to build up high rated accounts without having to play good opponents.

Forest9 is probably talking about the same person I am. I was wondering as well why this player was banned, as I just logged on and found I won both games.

Wonder if this is some disgruntled user who keeps logging on.

If this lad was a double-user then I applaud his imagination
at picking names for himself.

I wonder what his next name will be?

Yes, same guy. Seems harsh as he was playing straight against me.
