Hmm, maybe I didn't get it right... but

what about: B-h4, K-e2, e4, B-g2

doesn't that refute it (at least, enough to go beyond three moves). or have I missed the combination completely?

Unless I am mistaken, Queen sacrifice (or potential sacrifice) get you there.
