Ahh, yes...very enlightening, indeed. And you say this as a response to my post....why?
??? Maybe because the rules of the game were mentioned.

Well, sorry, but when you specifically refer to my post I take it to mean you thought that I was wondering what the reason for the rule was. If your intent is simply to add something to what I've already said, you should make that clear, no?

Yes I know. That is why I called it a stupid blunder. Would you believe I captured inpassing and was accused of hacking the game once? The players was rated about 2000. Hard to believe a high rated player did not know about that rule.
That has happened to me as well believe it or not.

My bogey player has to be cheshire cat, fastest mover ever to grace corresspondence site and quite possibly the most under 'rated' player i've ever played.

My biggest bogie is myself. Somtime I play some of the stupidest blunders. I lost a tournament game when I counted on a enpassing capture. My pawn was on f6. When g5 was played the sever would not let me capture it. I wonder why? I lost my Bishop and the game was lost.
Am I the only one who is his own worst enemy?

Pam Anderson. She comes on TV, I lose all my games.

Really, It's dinc168 and cheshire cat. His rating is so deceptive of his actual abilty. I'd like to see him cut back to 5 games and see how high his rating goes.

MSN. I would not play there if i was you. The players are abusive and harassing. Pluss MSN did not enforce standard chess rules as of the last time I played there. I have not played there in about five years. Over the board internet chess games are full of cheaters and hackers.
That's why I use the ICC. They have a way of detecting those using computers to cheat. I believe they have the best track record regarding this.

Prefect and seanpbutler, I think I've only managed to pinch a draw off each of them in the many times we've played. πŸ˜•

Vikthor and the Cat. I'll have to go look, but I don't think I've beaten Cheshire so it must be 0:12 by now. Vikthor, if I pay attention I beat him, but he has a tendency to sneak up on me. Prefect is a frustrating opponent but I wouldn't call him bogey because he is by far a better player than I. Still frustrates the heck out of me though.

My is Exy, I guess. I have worse records against some of the top players, but not against anyone around my rating. But I'll find antidote eventually:-)

Not so sure about that,it's possible playchess does a better job catching computercheats. But ICC is a great place to play, this cannot be argued with.
