Budapest Gambit (1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e5)

Just wondering, does anyone play this opening?

I have played this few times (a long long time ago) and I can say that its playable for black. But white can get small positional advantage if they plays precise.

I've used it a few times, it's a great opening, and I will continue to use it from time to time - I should really put serious consideration into making it my main defense against 1.d4, but for now I'm testing 1...d6.

i have no problems playing Nf6 and going for the kid either. but its a good supriseopening in otb

I'm not playing the KID right now, too much theory.

if you can get good at something as complex as the sicilian the kid is cake

In my opinion 3...Ng4 is definetly better than 3...Ne4
