I purchased Fritz 10. Now I wish I had purchased Deep Fritz 10. Can I legally sell Fritz 10, including the possibility of the new owner registering Fritz 10?

Yes I think.....as long as you dont keep a copy of the program for yourself.

Well it depends really because alot of people just buy the latest version of fritz to get another years access to playchess if you have already used the serial it is registered in your name meaning when you sell it on the person is getting the program but no access to playchess.

i thought both came up with the same moves, its just deep fritz does it quick enough to play under the set time controls

Fritz 10 can been me fast enough so I don't need Deep Fritz to do it 5 seconds faster.

I do not think Deep Fritz 10 in your computer will be the same thing that played Kramnik. I am sure that they had at least eight processors for Deep Fritz 10 vs Kramnik.

Deep Fritz is for machines with multiple processors. If you install it on a single processor machine it is the same as Fritz.

With your rating I really wouldn't worry about it. I have fritz 7 and at 5 sec/move it squashes me like a bug in 20 moves.
