The clock and the press seem to be big factors at this level. Success probably depends on a "confrontational" personality. Does that mean these are the best chess players? Would the results be different if the tournament was held on RHP with the usual 3/7 time restraints? Wouldn't Chess itself become the biggest factor, then?
