Aye, fairly hard. Luckily I won the other game tho, so didn't completely jeopardise the clan challenge.

Is there a special prize for moronic gluttonous stalemate?

I remember smacking my head not once but twice after this game which was ONLY 7 MOVES LONG:

Game 4070206

Here's how the final position looked. My opponent, playing black, had just moved his bishop to b4



What was amazing was that Chessmaster analyzed the final position and indicated I was not even 1 point down. I would lose the queen in exchange for a bishop and a knight and he would have doubled his pawns. Still, the loss of a queen would demoralize me big time, I doubt I'd have the will to continue.

After the exchages you play say Bg5 attacking his Queen then after, say, f6 play Rd1 attacking his Queen again. If Qe7+, Be3 and you have a phenominal development advantage. There are other possible lines and I am not saying the above is necesarily the best. I wouldn't give up a queen deliberately for this but having done it would have played on throwing everything onto an attack.

Anyway just so you don't feel too bad about the giving up Queen bit, some evidence that we all do it comes from Game 3765981.

In Game 3765994 my opponent very kindly returned the favour.
