Well, at least if things get tough, chess sets are relatively cheap ! And those park benches/tables will bring the atmosphere of Eastern Europe.

that's very good...especially that my company just started to lay-off...
and I noticed that if you play chess all the time you also eat less...as you do not have to move too much...

Can't afford to buy any chess sets.

I used to own 20000 Lloyds TSB shares.

Mind you, I still own them they just don't seem to be worth anything. Maybe I can make them into chess pieces.

Right you are!! The UK and the USA are roughly in the same boat on this one. Perhaps more chess players, and fewer stupid bankers, will make the world a better place.

In effect, you own a few more Lloyds TSB shares, as every taxpayer now owns some.
