This may sound wierd.

But I think I play better chess at 3.00- 400 in the afternoon than any other time of the day.

2 am when I can't seleep is a good time too. Actually now is always the best time to play chess.

In theory the best time should be 5.00pm, because that is when your body is most alert. I think I saw it on one of those BBC Body Shock programmes.
