I'm enjoying Ray Cheng's Practical chess exercises and Khmelnitsky's Chess Exam.
I did not enjoy The Chess Café Puzzle Book, too hard for me I guess but I'll probably try again when I've finished the other two.
With that in mind,or not,can you recommend another chesspuzzle book?It doesn't have to be tactics only.

Thanks

Do you have someone read the puzzles to you? I mean, reading in the womb would be difficult I would think. LOL 😛

My mom of course. But it's difficult, she has trouble reading chessnotation and when explaining the position she often confuses bishops with rooks

But in 2 months I'll be good 🙂

The books are better material than the CD, the program is old and a bit clunky... moreover the CD only covers steps 1-5 of 6.

That's ok,I'm old and clunky too.
I will use the cd and get step 6 when I've finished 1-5 🙂

I suggest trying "Imagination in Chess: How to Think Creatively and Avoid Foolish Mistakes". It's by far the toughest book like it that I have ever owned.

Here's an example problem, one of my favorite from the book. In order to solve it, you only need to use your imagination 🙂
