On priorities, what's worth more, + and make the king move pre-castel, or a pawn?

I already learnt my lesson the hard way :'( so I think I will know what to choose in future.

Making the king move pre castle. Pawns are dispensable in the opening. Development is more important.

Pawns are dispensable if you obtain a strategic advantage for them. In the opening a developmental advantage is a strategic advantage but don't give up pawns for nothing as in the end game that extra pawn could be decisive.
