Interesting blitz game played against GM Igor Efimov few minutes ago. Started as Albin counter gambit after 3rd move it transposed into Chigorin (1.d4 d5 2.c4 Nc6 3.e3 e5)

Well played. I really liked the Bg4-f3 maneuver.

Hi Korch,
I have a question about move 22.
Why didn't you check on the back rank with your rook? Would it not go like ...Rb1+ Kc2 ...R8b2+ Kd3 ...Nxf4+ and then he can choose between taking the knight with the queen and losing then or moving ke4 and losing his queen to a discovered check next move (...Ne6+)

Please point out idiocies if I missed something.

After ....Nxf4 comes exf4 and now back rank mate threats cause havoc for black not to mention he is down material.

I will disagree with zebano and say I dislike that bishop maneuver I'm more in favour with 15...Ng4 because white can save face with 20.f5 in the game but I will agree that it was well very well play. Congrats on beating a GM korch!

Actually tomtom232 is right - according to rybka better was 15...Ng4. But on the other side - complications after 16.0-0-0 Nxf2 17.Be1 was not so easy to calculate.

After 22...Rb1+ 23. Kc2 R8b2+ 24. Kd3 Nxf4+ 25. exf4 I don`t see how black can continue attack as White threats with mate on 8th horizontal.

According to rybka 22...R2b7 was the best move.

Yeah, but if it is hard for you to calculate then it will also be for him.
