After 4.Nxe4 whites best line I think is 5Nxe4 d5 6Bd3 dxe4 7Bxe4 Bd6 and black doesn't stand worse.About the traxler ih8sens...you don't know what you are talking about, if white wants it he can practically force black to settle with a draw.

I think taking that pawn puts my king is in too much pain. I think I'd rather play the pawn to d5.. but at least i know now.
