In this months issue of Chess Life, there is a scathing letter to the editor. In said letter, the author rips Chess Life, and the USCF in general, mentioning such issues of the lack of international coverage, a lack of explaining to readers the importance of particular tournaments, and an overall mismanagement of the publication. The writer also mentions that Chess in the United States is "minor league."

Being a member of the USCF, I expect most coverage to be of US events and focus on the Kamskys, Nakamuras and Susan Polgars of the world not Topalov, Kramnik et al. That said, I would like most coverage to be US based, but they should give coverage to world championship cycles, Chorus etc.
