Could be, but I doubt it. Take a look at some of his games. Pieces repeatedly put en prise, pieces not retreated from being en prise, failure to capture pieces en prise. And in one case, a pawn has a choice to capture either another pawn or a knight, and guess which one is chosen. Yep, the pawn.

Funny enough as I was looking up some of the games in Fritz, I turned up this game by Short last year.

Is that what Short plays regularly? However he still won while other top GMs were reportedly having trouble beating amateurs in the Olympiad.

Don't worry about the rest and don't comment as still in progress although comments on my 1st 2 moves won't do any harm. [b]Good aren't they?

It would be alot more impressive if black hadn't dropped those pawns...

What about the Knight. Did he "drop" that too. Those were not dropped they were won with my brilliant Grob style attack.

I will have to look at this more closely 🙂
Dare I ask (as still in progress) were you pissed at the time, trying something new or simply required self handicapping

Ah the invisible Hammerschlag! I see you stepped up from your grob opening. Nice work.

One warning, Don't let the Hammerschlag down.

Although you are not from our chess club, we will humilate you if you lose using it! Don't think the several thousands km separating us protects you from the humilation. Because it doesn't and rememeber, this game is Public 🙂

Is that a game in progress? Games in progress should not be discussed in the forum.

its in progress and the person is not taking the game seriously.. that should preclude any rule against discussion.. no one is complaining about the rahim-cms discussion

well 4...c6 instead of 4...Bg4 might've changed the game quite a bit. And he dropped the knight with the move 13...Nxd5 where he should have played 13...Ne6. But your grob-style attack looks quite fun to say the least. 🙂

Some nameless idiot suggested in the forum that I try these 2 moves as they were better than the Grob so I took him at his word.

Although I did try a Grob hybrid!

You need skills to play such a superior opening.

Not everyone can pull it off you know.

Many have tried and failed. We still humilate them to this day.

Fair warning, lose with it and we will humilate you. Distance is not a factor.

Right now the discussion in one sided.

I have not posted in that thread since the game has began.

Brillant, I know.
