Any suggestions on how to improve the end game . its a real weakness of mine wherby i lose so many games in the final chapter of a game. so any hints ideas or theories on how i can improve this stage? Cheers

take your time, read some books, play a lot of chess.....and stuff like that

See the many threads on best books and pick up one of the endgame books.

In the end game the positioning of your pieces becomes so very important... once the board opens up there are so many different positions your pieces can be in but there is usually only one position that will offer an advantage.

study end games of others and ask why re every move made
when you understand the why you can reproduce similar
