Played sir john cornforth. As about a 70 year old he was about a 200 ecf. I certainly did not get the draw or win. He got his Nobel prize for pro pro chirality which is the mapping of hydrocarbon mechanisms by the use of heavy hydrogen isotopes. A lovely man.

Bogart was a member of California Chess Association, both as a player (candidate for National master) and referee. He used to play blitz in some LA club, but it was probably the part of his secret agent-activities. His wife, however, never played chess. Neither did Napoleon and Che Gevara; their "games" are pure invention. Lenin did not play chess either... 😉
