If we have fear of losing then we cannot do anything in official and personal work aswell. In present situation players, who are in losing position not at all playing , simply wasting the time & space for others.It is a bad practice & needs to be corrected immediately.

In personal work as well one may take more time, not rush decisions in order to consider alternative options.
It is good practice in official work as well to spend more time on problem if one exists rather than try quick fix solution.

a bad position is the worst place for making hasty moves. it's correspondence chess, games take a lot of time. and they are supposed to.
