Yes, for example Anand - Topalov. And I think Seirawan will do the commentary again today (at playchess.com).
Thanks for giving the link, Nordlys. Seirawan's comment is indeed very instructive. He almost passed out when Anand -Topalov ended in a draw 😀 ..... great guy.

EDIT: the comments on playchess.com are not very positive for Anand.

I was out watching the aurora while that happened. It's a pity I missed it, but it would have been worse to miss the aurora show. 🙂

I have to miss the Aurora show every night .... maybe that's why I play chess. It is a wonderful substitute ... 🙂

The Seirawan comment is amazing. He is a good teacher. As a spectator I experienced quite a lot of chess commentators during OTB Grandmaster tourneys, but he is the best I have heard so far.

Congrats Yasser ! 🙂

Anand drew again. This time against Mikey Adams. The only way Anand can become World Champion now is to wait for Topalov to collapse under the immense pressure he's under ..... but Toppy is well known for his stamina .... the Bulgarian Bull .... 😵

Anand is not World Chess Champion material. Topalov is! Sorry.

And it would seem he's not stopping the role he's on.

Against Anand, Rustam couldn't castle. At this level, that's fatal.

Chaos on Playchess today... Right now the sound works for a change, let's see how long it lasts... Oops, gone again while I was typing! Anyway... Topalov and Svidler made a draw.

Topalov will lose if he loses both to Polgar and Kasimdzhinov, and if the winner of the Svidler-Anand game also wins against Morozevich (if Anand) or Polgar (if Svidler).

If Topalov manages a draw in either of his last two games, and his rival wins out, the tiebreaks kick in.

Topalov beats Svidler in head-to-head, the first tiebreak.

Topalov's two games with Anand were draws, but if Anand wins out and Topalov gets 1/2 from the last two rounds (necessary for tiebreaks), then Anand would have one more win, the second tiebreak.

There will be no rapid games this time around.

Only draws today. That means Topalov will win the tournament.

Svidler and Anand can fight for second place today. They play each other.
