****News Release****
ChessBase has just announced that Fritz 10--with significant improvements in playing strength and new interface options--will be available in time for Christmas 2007. The release should move Fritz back to the top of the computer rating charts, a position it lost shortly after the release of Fritz 9, die to the release of Hiarcs 10 one month later.
What do you mean position currently lost? Isn't Fritz 9 right at the top with the best of the best computer chess engines? From what I understand, only Shredder outplays it.
What is the point? Fritz 7 was already strong enough for any player. And if you already have Fritz 9, then what the hell are you going to do with Fritz 10???
