    I have stuck on Fritz 7 as well. When I play Fritz on unleashed, Im in serious trouble. I will upgrade when I can beat it.

    Yeah these 1400 players that claim they can beat fritz have me scratching my head. I play Fritz 7 with it set at 5 seconds/move, if I can last 50 moves before it flashes me a forced mate i think I'm doing pretty good. It usually has a won game by move 30 no matter how careful i am.

    lol, it is funny how they have already started to advertise Fritz 11 in their articles in chessbase site...like in "only 1 minute and a half Fritz saw all this difficult combination"...
    I agree, the combination was tricky for us, weak patzers, but even my pocket pc chess program which is not very strong saw them in less than a minute...there is no prove of How strong is Fritz 11 🙂)

    I think it was that kind of typical tactics that engines can spot very fast
