Following reports of an alleged high use of Fritz, the Fritz maker is to charge 5 bucks for each use of Fritz in a game here.

I highly doubt that the makers of Fritz would enact such a stupid, silly, and unenforceable rule. Next time actually check your sources instead of listening to the whatever gossip you hear at your chess club.

Edit: Or making up idiotic blatant lies just see what type of reaction you'd get.

I'm sure Chessbase prefers euros. The dollar's sinking like a rock, ya know. 😛

I did, but he can't possibly know that I did. It was merely a dribble.

Actually, I prefer fruit loops. But to be honest, no one. In fact, I wasn't even angry at the time. However, I've never had an angry rant on these forums, and most others (including yourself) have, so I just wanted to try it out. 😀😉😛

It was a good angry rant. Did you enjoy it?

Edit: I was actually going to say something else but then read your second post 🙂

You reckon? Which is the lower amount? 5 dollars or 5 euros?

Geez, I reckon it was a joke - You don't have to analyze it to death!

But if you insist, I never said 5 euros - I simply said euros. And the idea of the joke is that the dollar has been falling recently against the euro, so a German company might prefer a currency that isn't falling off a cliff. But never mind that, did I mention that IT WAS A JOKE? Sheesh....

Out of curiosity can anyone find a game where a GM like Fischer or Kasparov matched Fritz 100%?

Nf3 cannot be patented because chess is long established. However for people to play like Fritz here means that the Fritz maker's sweat is going unrewarded.

Wow, if this man uses that imagination to play chess I think he would be World Champion.
