No way...This is still drawable. Don't feel pressured to give up a fight. Make him win it!

Now I'll admit that I don't really know how to force the iwn but I'm sure it must be possible with queen against rook beacause the queen can attack in two ways and the rook only in one.

Don't tell me wha ...[text shortened]... am going to continue unless I hear otherwise - am I being rude to my opponent by not resigning?
I'm not going to comment on that, but your move 56 was woeful. Sorry. 😉

Btw: Corona, Sbecs is white.

Move 56 wasn't a blunder. If Q x Rook at c2 then it's stalemate!! Now that would be a blunder!

That's on move 57. Actually, Qxc2+ on 56 would have been a bad move but would have still won easily; but Qe1+ or Qh1+ are party over moves.

So - to phrase the question tidily : Assuming I am going to continue unless I hear otherwise - am I being rude to my opponent by not accepting a draw?
You're not being rude. It's your decision whether to accept or decline a draw offer.

1. Move 47 wasn't good. Rc8+ followed by bxa4 slaughters him completely.

2.And yes, on move 56, white has Qe1+ coming up a queen ahead in the exchange

3. You might squeeze a win if you're opponent makes stupid moves and you force his king to the edge of the board and maintain those pesky pins. But that's about it.
