Who are you, Bobby Fischer? You know what, there, numbnuts? I come here for fun. I don't spend hours and hours huddled over chess books, and spend whole days figuring out which crappy pawn should I capture. So I'm not the best pl ...[text shortened]... rounded, unlike you most probably, you half-witted social retard.
Face it,here everyone said only the truth,or are you saying your chess is good?
I'm crap myself at chess and I admit it,but you're rated barely over 900 and if someone says ''your chess is bad'' you get pissed.
How is that?
Edit: stop sending me crappy messages,it's useless.

ROFL sasq is obviously the only person here who has a life, a girlfriend and a job. Clearly the internet is beneath him and we're all losers.
Bah excuses!
Oh to be 16 again.
BTW whats the difference between strategy and tactics?
For example, take sasquatch:
"My long term goal is to get banned so I have come up with a few strategies (plans) to consider.
1. I will make the entire site hate me.
2. I will make Russ hate me.
3. I will delete my account and pretend I have been banned.
Because I am an idiot and number 3 requires some mental prowess, I have chosen #1. To achieve this, I will use the following tactics (means of achieving said plan):
1. I will take offence to anything that is said in reference to me
2. I will take every oppertunity to offend anyone
3. I will be a troll in general
Using these means, I hope to get banned one day."
(Piss people off (tactics) -> whole site hates him (strategy)-> get banned -> mission accomplished)
Might be a bad analogy but its proably because of a bad subject.
Originally posted by piersmWell a player requires a strategy regardless of opening but yes, the choice of opening determines the strategy. It all depends on the imbalances of the position and how to take advantage of your opponents weaknesses as well as cover your own. Yeah, tactics involve those maneuvers but they usually don't actually happen except in lower levels. Most of the time tactics involve the threat of such moves ie. not "oh no I just got screwed." but "oh no I can't do that because (blahblahblah insert combination) will leave me screwed". Well something like that. lol.
Hahaha the analogy may be flawed but I get the point, that was great.
I get the basic idea, so classic openings etc are strategies and moves like forks, pins etc are tactics?
