I was white. It is not easy to see that white has a mate-in-x moves😲

Joined 08 Mar '02 Moves 49486 I thought it was that, but if you run it over with a computer, it is a mate in 6 for white
Joined 21 Feb '06 Moves 6830 Does it start with Qe5+ rather than the obvious Qf6+? The reason being that Qe5 leaves f6 free for a knight check.
Joined 21 Feb '06 Moves 6830 1. Qe5+ Kh6 (Kf8 is easy)
2. Rxg6+! hxg6
3. Qh8

(or did you set it up for 1.Qf6+? Kh6?? which yields 2.Qxf8+ Kh5 3.Ng3+ Kg4 4.h3+ Kg5 5.Qf6+ Kh6 6.Nxf5+ Kh5 7.Qh4# )

Joined 13 Oct '06 Moves 124 instead of the pawn taking the rook, couldn't the king do it?
