Hammerschlag?? whats that all about then??

Hi

Whats the thinking behind the Hammerschlag opening - other than being a completely new opening for us beginners...

As white i usually try to castle asap but havent seen this i others' games. As black i aim to bring my bishop out to check the king then try and pile on the pressure...

any thoughts?

the previous threads give a lot of chess moves but not the thinking behind it... i've found next to nothing written on it...

Tip for White: Don't play it.
Tip for Black: Thank your opponent profusely if he plays it against you.

No No NO.

You are not getting off that easy - you play over the games
and YOU figure out the ideas.

But I will give you the spirit behind the opening.

You get Black out of the opening books and tempt him forward
in a premature attack.

Play out the games posted - you will get the idea.

(but beware - poeple rarely post their quick hammerings there may be
a few quick wins for Black missing - so these games may not tell
the full story).

So if you play this opening, you get your schlag hammered? 😲

hammer schlag hidden tiger dragon crouching ?

I'm still yet to try this obscene opening in one of my games.
I'll stick to loosing the regular way
