I like how I was able to get the oh-so-loveable Bishop pair and have them sweep the board, always one of my favorite things to accomplish in chess. My control over the queenside and most of the open center basically kept him on the defense for far too long and helped me keep the intiative, and from there it sort of played itself. 🙂

The first came from extensive opening research and analysis and a lot of preperation because I had to adapt the tactics somewhat (the game didn't exactly follow my referenced game). The second was my opponent underestimated danger (yes he did see the mate but the game was lost anyway so he played into it).
It was made all the more satisfying by the fact that I had lost the previous 6 games I played against him.
