I just played my worst two games of chess in the past three years to Dutch Defense

Originally posted by rubberjaw30I looked at your first game and the opening looked solid enough but you advanced the pawns protecting your king tooooo far methinks. Not one with expert opening knowledge though.
and its not that I need to know where I went wrong...
I know where I went wrong...
I'm just asking if anyone else has taken this much time without so much as looking at 64 squares...
how long did it take them to bounce back?
oh, and yes, I am officially back...
hey guys
Originally posted by rubberjaw30I checked out game one. Lots of bad moves man, generally it's not good to advance the pawns in front of your king unless the center has been closed. Beyond that you missed tactics (major tactics). Keep playing, do some tactics, some blitz...whatever just play.
Game 4019468
Game 4019278
Game 1. Advanced your protecting king pawns too far.
Game 2. Never castled in time(leaving king exposed) plus a silly move with your queen.
I wouldnt worry much as they are simple mistakes that youd fix in a jiffy. Just keep playing would be my advice and look for the feel of the game you had before.

that's what I was looking for, and that's what some other peole off the site had told me...
